Carrabba's Team Blythe Takes 4th in Cleveland Grand Prix
 Carrabba's Team Blythe headed into Cleveland, Ohio for the Cleveland Grand Prix with expectations of a top five finish. The water conditions for the race are flat which is not conducive to our boat's specs. Our boat is a rough water boat, the rougher the water the better. We started the race with a light fuel load to make the boat lighter and more competitive in the flat water. We called it a little too close for comfort and on our last lap we had to throttle back to conserve our gas supply to finish the race in fourth place. Despite the outcome Carrabba's Team Blythe is currently ranked second in it's APBA Class in the country. |

The owner, Michael Mondozzi and his team of managers welcomed the race team to the Cleveland area. They supplied the race team with free give-a-ways for the fans. The boat was on display at the local Cleveland Carrabba's and received great reviews by the patrons and drive by traffic on the major thoroughfare. Carrabba's had pictures of the race boat on display inside the restaurant and it helped to raise the level of excitement for race day. The race team also found time to enjoy fabulous meals courtesy of Mr. Mondozzi, owner of Cleveland Carrabba's Italian Restaurant. The team mixed and mingled with the local patrons and the employees. A good time was had by all.
